Community Outreach

Night Walkers: This community outreach was established to identity through our partnership with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department communities that would benefit from our outreach efforts to reduce blight, that are distressed, that exhibit high crime rates and are lacking in alternative activities for our youth. Men of the community and our faith based partners are recruited to complete the training course and to respond to gang and crime related activities. We would like to offer to our young men and women opportunities to receive their high school diplomas as well as gainful employment. Research teaches us that the greatest determent to crime is academic success and access to financial stability.

We continue to serve our community through our engagement with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the multiplicity of community oriented outreach services that they host and initiate.  

We are active members of the Safe Village Initiative (Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority) and RECAP-Reclaiming Every Community Around Peace (Las Vegas Metropolitain  

Our community collaborative with the Las Vegas Housing Authority and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department earned us the  

2011 International Association of Chiefs of Police- IACP/Motorola Webber Seavey Award for Quality in Law Enforcement winners
